I took Rudder with me today on my morning run. This really is sacrificing my workout when I bring him. He is not old enough to go the distance I do; he also dosent yet understand the idea of a pace for endurance.
We ran to the big tennis courts. It was a geougeous morning, very peacful and still with millions of stars and a bright crescent moon glaring down on us. Texas does have awesome night skies. I closed in the courts and let him run while I did my interval/sprint training. (I am attempting to break my all time half marathon record in November). This worked well but I am back now and ready to go to work, Rudder is bouncing off the walls like that hour of constant movement was nothing.
Humm.

This blog about Rudder, my German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP). Its mostly so I remember, because in 12 years when he dies, the next generation will need another crazed white lab of a terror story for its entertainmet throught laughs and tears. I am setting my claim now, Rudder will be this dog. Forgive me for my selfishness but I am going to be there to cash in...more like be rehimbursed for all that he has cost me.
